Virginia P. Croudace's practice encompasses a variety of general business and real estate matters, including formation of and continuing advice to joint ventures, limited partnerships, limited liability companies, partnerships and corporations in a variety of contexts, such as acquisition, sale and/or development of both developed and undeveloped land (including environmentally impaired property), co-ownership issues and secured and unsecured financing transactions. She also has extensive experience and special expertise in leasing, having represented owners in leasing office, commercial and retail space and lenders, such as MMA Realty Capital, Inc. (formerly MONY Realty Capital and MONY Life Insurance Company), in leasing their office and retail equities, and in providing ongoing advice regarding property management. Ms. Croudace also regularly assists tenants in negotiating leases and counsels tenants in connection with lease interpretation and disputes. Ms. Croudace has also represented developers and lenders such as Voit Development Company, bkm Development Company, MMA Realty Capital, Inc., Rockwell Automation, Conexant Systems, Inc., Skyworks Solutions, Inc., and Unisys Master Trust in leasing, acquiring, financing, entitling, developing, and selling numerous office, industrial and retail properties throughout California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Idaho, Washington and Hawaii, and has formed numerous investment and development entities for the acquisition and development of shopping centers, business parks and other commercial sites throughout California. Ms. Croudace has extensive experience in preparing CC&Rs and forming property owners’ associations in connection with both condominium and fee development for office and industrial uses.

Ms. Croudace formerly practiced with Latham & Watkins, and graduated from law school at the University of Southern California in 1985 where she served as Articles Editor on the law review. She graduated from Bates College with a B.A. degree in 1976.
